An iPad?! Wow what an awesome prize! I am a photographer in the Western NY area and meet with clients frequently. I am constantly trying to make lists and bring contacts and releases and not forget anything! Not to mention I’m lugging around a laptop so that I can show them. I would love to become paperless and be able to have them sign releases and contracts via the iPad. It would be great to have something for them to hold on to as they flip through my portfolio. I love the idea that it can feel like a photo album instead of clicking a mouse. I would also love the fact that I would have everything in one place and that it would even fit in my camera bag! Hi! I did all of them, cause I really need those extra entries! I hope to win!!!
If I won the I-pad I would use it for my wedding consultations with my clients. After using a friends ipad for a clients consult. I found it was very easy to use, and have right there in my hands. Being able to show the client vivid color of examples of photographs from past weddings and showing them different styles pulled right off the web. I would use this to my advantage. I would also use the ipad for business transactions via Square. This is something that I have been saving up for, If I win it, I can use the money already saved for bigger and better things for my business! I have complied w/ all requirements to enter and below is why I would love to win an ipad!

I just started my business about a year ago as I was and am fighting Brain Cancer. I loved photography and decided to use it as a way for me to cope w/ my illness because it was something I loved and away to help offset my medical bills and all the cost that come along w/ this horrible disease but I’m not letting the cancer claim me. I’m getting new clients all the time, have my regulars as I do travel back in forth back from KY to Delaware for treatments and I have clients in both locations that love my work. The iPad would help benefit me to be able to show new clients my work and what I can do by carrying it w/ me, I can show clients their edited photo’s and place print orders w/ them by accommodating them by going to them. It would help me add my new contacts or clients that are interested as well. There are so many uses for this I could go on but would love to honestly win it!

Wow. What an amazing & unique giveaway. I would use the IPAD for my business to do editing, proofing, check emails, day to day behind the scenes stuff . BUT, I can see my having to fight my 4yr daughter for the IPAD if we had it.

Ava is Autistic, and right now when I can’t find my iphone, 90% of the time she’s got it. Autistic children respond so well to the touch screens & Ava is very visual, she loves it, and learns so much from it. Unfortunately those in charge of funding don’t see it this way, and it’s not something we can afford right now.

An iPad would be invaluable for our expanding business! We started last year with Name With Flame, The Custom Candelabra Company… we may Sweet 16 & Mitzvah candelabras customized with the party girl’s name! We’re expanding with a custom party & photo booth prop line – called “Larger Than Life” — think an 8 foot long Swedish Fish, or a seven foot high 16! The props are made from theatrical foam, so they’re lightweight, decorative & fun! But you REALLY need to see an 8 foot long Swedish Fish – so ENTER THE IPAD! Plus a huge help with emailing, contracts, networking & (AGREED!) catching up on my reading!

I’ve done weddings off and on very part time for the last 13 years and I decided 2012 was the year to push and make this full time!! It’s not easy setting this up- nor is it cheap!! As I was in the process of revamping, my husband got seriously ill and had to go on disability (which pays next to nothing!) and my purchases ground to a halt!! I’ve liked and shared the giveaway info on my page. I have been wanting an iPad for my business for awhile now. There are SO many ways it would be helpful, most importantly to be able to show clients their photos directly after a shoot on a decent quality screen rather then the back of my camera! I’d also use it as a portable portfolio to show to potential clients, there’s no better way to sell yourself then to show your work. Thanks for offering this amazing giveaway…keeping my fingers crossed!

I would use the ipad to show my clients my portfolio on site, instead of lugging around 10 different books. I’d be able to load everything on it and then just take 1 or 2 hard copy books!

I heard about your page from Judy Balboa Flores Just “Liked”, tagged and shared on my fb wall as well.

I work from home doing authorizations for orthopaedic surgery patients. An iPad would help me stay in closer contact with the other team members when I’m away from my desk and would make the approval process go so much more smoothly for these injured patients!!
