I used my 50mm 1.4 and cut a heart about 1/2 inch on a piece of paper, attached with tape to my lens, and had fun! My picture has a pink tint due to the only color of paper I had available! Black would let you have no color at all! Remember to keep your custom shape smaller than your aperture!
